Microbiological Safety Cabinet SafeFAST Premium, Class II, acc. to DIN EN-12469

SafeFAST Classic vertical laminar flow cabinets with automatic regulation and microprocessor based monitoring systems. These cabinets are suitable for handling micro-organisms and pathogens as defined by the appropriate European and other International Standards, current health and safety guidelines and legislation aimed at safeguarding health and safety of operators at work. It\'s special features are the strictest safety standards delivering outstanding performances in terms of power consumption, noise level and CO₂ emissions.

• Microprocessor based monitoring sytem ECS^®, automatic control of all functions and all safety alarm systems ensuring that performance characteristics are maintained to EN-12469:2000 requirements.
• With low pressure drop H14 HEPA/ULPA filter, double lifetime and superior air flow distribution to the work surface (70% of the air re-circulated via the main H14 HEPA/ULPA filter within the cabinet, whilst the remaining 30% is discharged through an exhaust H14 HEPA/ULPA filter)
• Very low power consumption (84.4 Watt) due to DC blowers, low pressure drop H14 HEPA/ULPA filters, low power consumption LED light and the ECS^® microprocessor
• Very low CO₂emissions equals 163 kg/year
• Very low noise level of 42,5 dB(A) thank to special plenum design and certified low pressure drop H14 HEPA/ULPA filters.
• Electrically operated sash window with a standard heigth of the work position set to 160 mm. Alternative sash-height setting is available upon request. 440 mm maximum opening.
• Easy cleaning and maintanance due to sash window which is also hinged
• Work surface made of stainless steel (AISI 316L), with antimicrobial Dupont™ ALESTA^® (Ag-cations-based) coating
• With electrical socket (1 for SafeFAST Premium 212 and 2 for SafeFAST Premium 215 / 218) and with 1 automatic safety service connection for gas and 1 for vacuum
• Audio visual alarms are provided for out of range or incorrect laminar airflow velocity and frontal air barrier velocity, incorrect position of front sash-window, saturation of the filters, end of life-cycle of UV lamp (if fitted), blockage in the exhaust duct, fan-motor malfunction or power failure
• Userfriendly keyboard with backlit LCD display continuously reports all required data keeping the user constantly informed of the cabinet conditions in operation
• Mobile UV sterilizing lamp (optional) can be easily placed in each area of the back wall, complete with three countdown timers, one fully programmable by the operator, one variable on a 0 to 3 hours scale (one minute steps), and one set to three fixed hours.
