Split beam spectrophotometer with a bandwidth of 3/5 nm (Biowave II with 5 nm bandwidth / Biowave II + with higher resolution 3 nm bandwidth version). With xenon lamp technology for longer source lifetime. This device has a 2 year warranty and the xenon lamp has a 3 year warranty. With reference beam compensation (RBC) for the removal of optical interference to improve signal to background measurements. Pre-programmed methods for nucleic acid quantification (DNA, RNA and oligionucleotides), protein assays (BCA, Biuret, Bradford and Lowry) and for cell culture density measurements. The system is compatible with disposable low volume UV cuvettes. Results may be printed by an optional integrated graphical printer for a permanent record or exported via a USB connection to a suitable PC running Print Via Computer (PVC) software for advanced reporting and data storage.
